Chocolate truffles originated in France and, as its name suggests, looks like a mushroom truffle. Therefore, they are also called truffles. Chocolate truffles are a ganache rounded and coated with ordinary chocolate. Recently, a ganache coated with cocoa powder instead of chocolate is called a truffle. In addition, we call a truffle that includes caramel or nuts and berries instead of ganache, or mixed fruits and mint in the ganache. You can make truffles of various tastes by changing the type of chocolate and the taste of the ganache.
The ingredients are fresh cream, bitter chocolate, sweet chocolate, grand marnier liqueur and cocoa powder. First, pour fresh cream into a pan and heat it over high heat. When the fresh cream boils, add it to the chocolate in the bowl and leave it for about 1 minute. Then mix slowly from the center of the bowl and completely melt the chocolate. In addition, add Grand Marnier liqueur to it. Second, soak the bottom of the bowl in cold water and slowly mix. Cool the chocolate until it is becomes a little stiff and heavy. Next, put the chocolate in a squeezing bag and squeeze it out onto a plate with a cooking sheets. Then, put it in the refrigerator and cool for 15 minutes. The ganache is complete. While cooling the ganache, warm the chocolate for coating and melt it until it's smooth. Finally, take out the ganache from the refrigerator, put the coated chocolate on the palm of your hand and roll it with your palm to coat the ganache. Then, put cocoa powder in another bowl and cover it with powder.
