Almond Jelly

Today, I’ll introduce Almond Jelly. Almond Jelly is Chinese sweets and called “Annin tofu” in Japan. Annin is seed of apricot and this sweet uses apricot seed oil. This sweet is made by adding seed oil and sugar to the milk and solidify it with gelatin However, it is difficult to get that oil. We use almond essence instead of Annin because Annin in similar in flavor to almond essences. So it is called “Almond Jelly” in English. This sweets can always be eaten in Chinese restaurants and it is often eaten in fruit punch in Japan. This time I made this sweets by image of Tanabata because it is almost Tanabata.


The ingredients are Almond Jelly mix, fresh cream, grape jelly and orange. This recipe doesn’t use fire, so you can easily make it without fail. This time, I decorated with jelly, but you can decorate with fruit instead of jelly.
 
First, mix fresh cream until it thickens. Then, pull out the jelly in star shaped. Second, melt the Almond Jelly mix with hot water and mix well. Next, add the fresh cream to Almond Jelly mix and mix well. Then, put it in a cup and cool it in the refrigerator. Once it solidifies, put a star jelly inside the cup and slowly pour Almond jelly mix. Also, put oranges in the center. After cooling for an hour in the refrigerator, place the cup diagonally and pour grape jelly. Finally, decorate with gold or silver foil, pour light blue jelly and solidify.
